A group show featuring:

We will show you an exhibition without a specific theme. Instead the works presented will be thrown in several different directions without the want to communicate or work towards a common goal.

Since the works included in this show has no connection, why tempt fate and bring them together?

We have long wanted to do a show that was relaxed, and challenged the familiar, namely group exhibitions with a common theme.

Can't you also get a great art experience, if the artworks are allowed to communicate in their own language, without any authority deciding the meaning or context?

We have tested the hypothesis, and tried very hard to show you one way to bring it all together, though nothing fits together. Controlled chaos may be one way of describing it.

We feature works by both living and deceased artists who have, and have had a great impact on contemporary art.

We hope that you will come and witness an exhibition where there is neither a fine display text or historical angle to tie the works together. There are 'only' the works of art, eager to communicate their own expression, freely and limitless. We believe that you will be surprised as to how well it works. For once, we want you to go and see an exhibition, where informal is the attitude we appreciate. Just enjoy the works as they are, directly, and with your own subjective guideline as defining instrument.

Galleri Benoni is a gallery with an ambitious yet relaxed atmosphere.

We aim to present contemporary artists working within a wide range of mediums.

We seek out art that excels in 4 parameters: Artistic skill, process, theme based approach and C.V. We will exhibit both Danish and international artists. We love many art genres, and will not confine the gallery space to one art form.

Instead we will welcome everything from underground Street Art, to a more pleasing aesthetic, and even show varying types of minimalism. We aim to uphold meaning, and a constant red thread, despite our diverse choice of Shows/exhibitions.

We will highlight work that equally emphazize skill & process. The works you can expect to see in our gallery aims to amuse, and engange viewers on a sentient emotional and inspirational level.

We want to include, rather than exclude. We welcome you to visit Galleri Benoni.
